Please read the questions below carefully before contacting the NDB. Frequently asked questions and their answers are the be found here.
When can one expect their players card?
Similar as in the 2011 edition, the players cards will not be sent by post. It has to be picked up PERSONALLY at the desk in question at NH Conference Centre Koningshof. For the participants in the pairs tournaments (whether or not in combination with a registration for the single tournament) it means that the card has te be picked up on Friday February 3rd between 10:00 and 12:00 hours. Those who will only compete in the single tournament are obliged to pick up their card on Saturday February 4th between 09:00 and 10:30 hours.
What to do if one is not able to pick up their card him- or herself?
As already was pointed out, participants need to pick up their card PERSONALLY. In case this is not possible, someone else is allowed to do this. An absolute requirement is this case is that this person is able to show (a copy) of the participant's ID. No ID means NO players card.
When will the draw and the match schedule be published?
On January 22th the draw and match schedule will be available. After the draw has taken place, the sheets will be published on this site as soon as possible. Note that the draw and schedule are to be published with reservations and no rights can be derived from them. Keep a close watch at the schedules by visiting the website to see which modifications can advance in the last weeks before the start of the tournament.
If one only competes in the singles tournament, should then be paid to watch the pairs tournament?
No, just as in the previous editions the players card is also the admission ticket to the event. This means that participants who only compete in the singles tournament have to pick up their players card on Friday morning to get a free entrance to NH Conference Centre Koningshof when the pairs tournaments start.
The registration has been completed, but still no confirmation e-mail is received.
The system automatically sends an e-mail when registration is completed. It is possible that this e-mail has landed in the 'spam' box or that during registration a false e-mail address has been entered (for example because of an typing error). It can also occur that the mailbox is full and as a consequence the system cannot send the e-mail. In third place it is an option that the confirmation e-mail will only be received after a few hours (for example when a hugh number op partcipants register in a short time). Don't make another registration right away (then you've signed up twice!), but wait for one day. When all situations pointed out above are not applicable, please contact the NDB by filling out the contactform. We will sort out the problem and contact you.
How are the VIP cards to be obtained?
It is NOT possible for participants and/or spectators to buy VIP cards. The NDB defines the people they want to invite as a VIP. These guests (for example board members of Dutch darts organisations, suppliers, top 16 players, etc.) will be put on a list. If one wants to obtain VIP cards, but is not on the list, sponsorship is a possibility.
During the registrationprocedure there was a problem, has registration succeeded or failed?
In all cases concerning registration it applies that not earlier than the moment the NDB receives the money the participant will be put throught the database that will be used for the draw. If there is a problem during registration, it means one has to start again with the procedure. When registration has ended succesfully, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to the address that has been given in.
